Hi there. I am new to hardware, i wanna build a computer for my experiments, that can run Windows Xp at least. AS i cant afford expensive PC for my Electrical experiments, so i decided to make one for myself by collecting the standalone parts from USED SHOPS.

First thing in making computers is Motherboard, so i was thinking what to look for? Is there any thing i need to look into old Motherboards (ofcourse they will be cheap and easily available on USED SHOPS) that can run Windows Xp?

Some guidelines on buying the Motherboard please?

According to me Intel is the best Motherboard for you. Intel is the very popular for the motherboard. It is a very cheap in a price and gives the best services to it's users.
