ok, just back from school and on me computer i now have two problems i believe.
1. somebody have used my computer when I'm not there
2. in vista security it say i have a software, called "
SpyAgent keylogger"
how do i go about removing it , thanks you
Keyloggers are typically used by hackers to obtain user passwords, credit card information and all that. It essentially logs the keystrokes that user enters. If someone has mischieviously installed this one behind your back, there are two things you can do to remove it.
1. Start -> run -> msconfig ....see if spyagent entries are there and uncheck or delete them. Go to your programs folder, there must be a folder created by spytech...find it..delete it...if it doesn't delete because of running processes...
Download Unlocker
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
Right click on the folder, unlock it and delete it.
Also download Spyware Terminator from
http://www.spywareterminator.com/download/download.aspx
Install, update it. Reboot your machine, start in safe mode with networking and do a full system scan. Spyware terminator will find registry entries and other files infected with this keylogger.
This should remove it properly.
2. Second thing is make sure to keep a tab on whoever uses your computer behind your back with malicious intents!
