Wat's Memoristor ?
Hi everyone,
Have you been heard about Memoristor ?
The Next Big thing? The memristor, a microscopic component that can "remember" electrical states even when turned off. It's expected to be far cheaper and faster than flash storage. A theoretical concept since 1971, it has now been built in labs and is already starting to revolutionize everything we know about computing, possibly making flash memory, RAM, and even hard drives obsolete within a decade.
The memristor is just one of the incredible technological advances sending shock waves through the world of computing. Other innovations in the works are more down-to-earth, but they also carry watershed significance. From the technologies that finally make paperless offices a reality to those that deliver wireless power, these advances should make your humble PC a far different beast come the turn of the decade.

RE: Wat's Memoristor ?
The memristor, as the name suggests, is a resistance with memory. Resistance that provides the memristor is a function of the amount of current which crosses above. Sometimes breakthroughs are advertised and nothing ever comes of them because they cannot be made practical.

RE: Wat's Memoristor ?
A memristor is a passive two-terminal circuit element in which the resistance is a function of the history of the current through and voltage across the device. Memristor theory was formulated and named by Leon Chua in a 1971 paper.

A memoristor is a type of resistor in which the flow of electrical current in an electronic circuit. As per my knowledge, memoristors are 4th class of electrical circuit, joining the resistor, the capacitor, and the inductor.

A memristor is a acquiescent two terminal ambit aspect in which the attrition is a action of the history of the accepted through and voltage beyond the device. A memristor is use terminal basic in which the attrition depends on the basic of the ascribe activated to the terminals.

RE: Wat's Memoristor ?
Well,
A memristor is a type of resistor in which the flow of electrical current in an electronic circuit is determined by the amount of charge that has previously flowed through it.

RE: Wat's Memoristor ?
A Memoristor is any of variouskinds of passive two-terminal circuit elements that maintain afunctional relationship between the time integrals of current andvoltage. A memristor possesses both data storage and signalprocessing capabilities. It replaces today’s commonly used dynamicrandom access memory.
