Yahoo confirmed that its Web site was down temporarily few days back, but had not released details. Here are few details about the incident.
"For a brief period, Yahoo.com was inaccessible to some users," a spokeswoman said in a statement. "We have identified the issue and are working to correct it immediately. We know that this may have caused some inconvenience and we apologize to our users who might have been affected."
The spokeswoman said she could not say how widespread the outage was, how long it lasted or what caused it.
Yahoo has completely rectified the issue now and the website is working just fine.
