CISA Cybersecurity bill in Congress contains privacy problems online including e-mail
Hi guys I am new here and I do not know how many of you have heard about the latest effort by Congress to tackle Cybersecurity and the new bill in Congress that passed the Senate intelligence committee may contain Privacy Violations and also will allow NSA spying online to become legal. The name of this Cybersecurity bill is called CISA or Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act.

Already electronic privacy groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation CLICK HERE >> https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2015/03/se...rveillance and news organizations are saying Google and Facebook will be able to give away your personal information to the Government without anyone's knowledge or consent and be given blanket immunity when doing so and even if you find out there giving away your private information to the Government and State and Local law enforcement which could include E-mails, Text Messages, Financial Information, Credit Card purchases, Webpage Visits, et Click here >> http://www.fastcompany.com/3043750/senat...-a-warrant

There have been petitions online to stop CISA from passing the Senate http://www.cispaisback.org/ & https://act.eff.org/action/stop-the-cybe...ring-bills and even telling people to call there Senators to oppose CISA Cybersecurity bill https://www.opencongress.org/people/zipcodelookup

These petitions even say that this CISA bill was done in secret in the US Senate, so its a big deal to privacy advocates because CISA takes away all knowledge of what your ISP is doing with your information, you can no longer file for a Freedom of Information act and file a lawsuit against your ISP to find out if there giving away your information can no longer be allowed if CISA Cybersecuriy bill passes.

What do you guys think, here is the bill so you can all read it. The number is S.754 Click HERE >>> https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/114/s754/text

Do you feel CISA is a privacy violating bill or does it strike the right balance for Cybersecurity online? I happen to think it does both but there needs to be more privacy protections if I am to call my Senators to support the CISA Cybersecuriy bill.

They try and try and try again to pass this law in modified forms.
And they probally wont stop trying.

Your data from google , facebook etc.
People just dont seem to care until something terrible happens with that data.
Or if the media brings it to attention of the people. Showing the dangers.

CISA should be shot down again i think.
