Useful Windows XP run commands
Windows users probably do not use command prompt as extensively as Linux users. However, there are a number of useful Windows commands that you can run straight from the Start -> run dialog box. Often times, these come very handy and save a few mouse clicks. Here's an extensive list of useful windows xp run commands very handy for advanced users and system administrators alike.

Open My Computer -> "..." without quotes
Open My computer -> file: or file://
Open global documents and settings folder -> ".." without quotes
Open logged in users documents and settings -> "." without quotes

Thank you for the doc. I have a one question that all commands will support the windows 7. I had tried it some and It works fine. I wanna try all the commands nut I have a doubt that any command will corrupt my os so I hadn't tried it all. If you are having the list iof windows 7 then please put it in the Post.

It is too much interesting. XP commands are very nice to share with us. I was familiar with some of it, It is very useful in booting your system or mouse is not working.

Many time all the programs are not runned well by clicking on the icon and for that we have to use the rum commands. It is much beneficial for all here because not everyone is known to all commands. I like it and much impressed by your post and information shared here.

Run commands gpedit.msc,Regedit,and msconfig these three command are very useful to configure the startup programs,to edit registry of programs.
